2019 Winderlea Bounteous Pinot noir

Expressive and approachable, this wine displays layers of strawberry, pomegranate, and plum followed by notes of violet and toasted almond skin.  A hint of mushroom leads to an impression of wet earth, and allspice with an underlying touch of black tea.  A generously red-fruited palate is buoyed by supple tannins and a plush finish.

Best Paired with: Cold leftover fried chicken from the picnic while starting the new season of Ted Lasso.

Bright cherry nose with persimmon and baking spice notes. Red Cherry, hints of blueberry and cranberry come alive on the palate with a full and lively mouthfeel. Brown sugar, brown butter, plum and a hint of dried herbs and cinnamon leads you into the finish that show mouth drying tannins, hinting at this wine’s structure and age ability.
